Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

This condition can occur as a secondary complication to other disorders such as diabetes or Parkinsons or where there is no identifiable cause, it can be attributed to lower levels of dopamine in the brain. Also know as Willis-Ekbom disease, it causes an overwhelming urge to move the legs and occasionally the arms. These feelings often begin or worsen during periods of rest or inactivity.

Stroke Treatment

Strokes can cause weakness in muscles or paralysis, general mobility issues and post-stroke fatigue limiting exercise. They are caused either by a blood clot, preveting the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain, Ischaemic strokes. Or by very high blood pressure, Haemorrhagic strokes, which over time weaken arteries in the brain therefore increasing the risk of them splitting or rupturing.
